A
female adult left a New Year’s Eve party and was walking home in the early morning hours when a suspect forced her into a vehicle
and drove her to a location where she was sexually assaulted. She helped create a composite sketch but after several months
the case went cold. DNA evidence was collected and entered into a statewide database. In January of 2010, a positive match
was made and the suspect was arrested.
