In January of 2009, there were two separate, unrelated traffic collisions in the city of Riverside, CA.  They occurred in the early morning hours and targeted lone, female drivers.  The suspect would attack and assault them when they left the safety of their vehicles to inspect for damage. 

Several months later, the suspect caused another minor traffic accident in Huntington Beach, CA.  After he sexually assaulted the female in the incident, police were able to identify the suspect through fingerprints found on her car. 

The suspect, a convicted rapist, was later arrested and charged with multiple counts of sexual assault.
